Drop In Centre Achieves Charitable Status

Earlier this month, the Charity Commission agreed to award the Drop In Centre charitable status in support of the continuation of our work for the community.

As well as providing recognition to work already achieved, becoming a charity will also bring a number of other benefits including increasing future funding opportunities.

Our thanks to Community Matters (National Federation for Community Organisations) who provided legal expertise and worked with the Charity Commission on our behalf, thanks Sarah!

We hope to hold an official launch later on in the year.
