Bingo! Shouts Castleland

Bingo_heading
We started off with three games of Hoy to get everyone warmed up. Each of us paid a pound into the pot for each game with the winner of a game taking the prize of £10.

We then started the Bingo session with the Flyer tickets, we then play the book of 5, and on the last ticket in the book is the "Snowball House".

The Snowball house rolls over by a pound each week until it's won.

We then have another flyer and then an interval, during which the football card £10 game is played.

Then we played 2 raffles. The entry raffle was drawn, and the prize was 2 free entry and free tickets each session. The second raffle was the prize raffle, where the winner took home plants, tea towels, handbag and a variety of cosmetics.

Also during the interval, Teas, Coffees, cold drinks, sandwiches and biscuits were sold.

We then started the second session of Bingo, with 5 books and a Flyer to finish the night.

This is typically what we do every week, if you are interested in coming along we are pleased to welcome you, but would like to know more then please contact Sue Brine (07805 323671) and she will be happy to help put you in touch with the group.

Grant Award - Update

Unfortunately, Castleland Community Association's application for a Kick Start III Grant for I.T. equipment did not go before the panel, therefore, no decision has been made. The application will now be presented to the panel in October, when hopefully a decision in our favour will be made.

Castleland Community Association have yet to be advised of the decision regarding a grant application made for tables, chairs, gym mats, sewing machine and soft play equipment. I will keep you updated, so watch this space.
