Castleland Community Centre has been awarded £496,741.00 from the Big Lottery, this money will be used to refurbish the centre and further develop a Sensory Garden opposite. The projected date of commencement for the refurbishment is late 2010. Castleland Community Association anticipates that this will allow for a social enterprise status in 2012, with the establishment of a community cafe and other prospective individual enterprises.
