Is an open access provision designed specifically to respond to the needs and wishes of children. The provision was set up initially in partnership with Vale Play and NCH and has been running for over 2 years. Playzone is run by Tanya Dee ( resident volunteer and qualified Lead Officer)

Open access provision is defined as a supervised provision and can be in a building, park or open space. Children and young people are free to come and go at will and cannot be confined to the play provision by staff. The children are actively encouraged to make decisions for themselves regarding the opportunities and the play provision.
