UnityFX
UnityFX is a new I.T. project with a focus on (but not exclusive to) media driven activities through the use of a computer. This project aims to provide support for people in an often neglected niche in the voluntary sector, and to allow anyone with an interest to engage in new and existing projects through participation in media marketing roles such as: Photographer, Documentor, Promoter etc. via training in the use of professional Camera equipment and Editing software.
Whether it be a solo project such as a short film, or a group based community documentary, UnityFX aims to support the wishes of the community and provide training to people who are interested in this particular area of I.T.
The project covers a variety of I.T. media areas such as:
- Image Editing / Manipulating using Photoshop
- Movie Editing using Premiere
- Visual Effects using After FX
- Computer Generated Imagery and Motion Graphics using 3DS Max
- Leaflets, Logos and Poster Creation using Indesign, Photoshop
The project is funded by the Drop In Centre Development Trust and Big Lottery's "Awards for All" organisation.
